Home Hero is a neutral marketplace platform that facilitates connections between individuals seeking home-related services (“Consumers”) and independent service providers (“Providers”). Home Hero does not perform services, does not employ Providers, and does not supervise, direct, or control Provider work.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using Home Hero, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity occurring under your account.
5. Marketplace Rules
5.1 Consumers
Consumers are responsible for evaluating Providers and making independent hiring decisions.
5.2 Providers
Providers represent that they possess all required licenses, permits, and insurance, and are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and safety of services performed.
6. Payments, Subscriptions & Promotions
Home Hero may offer paid features, including subscriptions and promotional tools such as boosted listings. Payments are processed by third-party processors. Boosted listings increase visibility but do not guarantee results.
7. Independent Contractor Relationship
Providers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Home Hero. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment or agency relationship.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Home Hero a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content in connection with the Platform.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to violate laws, misuse the Platform, circumvent fees, or interfere with security or operations.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform software, trademarks, designs, and content are owned by or licensed to Home Hero and protected by law.
11. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” HOME HERO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOME HERO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID TO HOME HERO IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Hero from claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
14. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Florida. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
16. Termination
Home Hero may suspend or terminate access at its discretion.
17. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
